I would rate class4E the best.
Having the top students in our class, its my pleasure(really) to lead the class as a chairman.
Tommy Tham. He's been awarded with the most prestigious title in Maris Stella High any student would vie for! The 2006 Marist of the Year. To begin with, he's been shortlisted based on his results. >70%. That alone is commendable! Next, i personally feel that his leadership abilities are influential enough. There's this special air around him, that will make people listen to him. He uses his loud voice to his advantage.
There were so many times where i was unable to get attention, and he stood up and finished the business for me. As a chairman, i felt upset. However, looking at a different point of view, i think it requires some charisma to accomplish that. Lastly, he has been spotted by many teachers for his determination. His hardworking attributes far outweighs the other quality he posseses. He trains very hard for his CCA and sets up his own training schedule. Using the school boundary as a training track, he trains almost everyday. During his run, he puts in his 99% into what he does(did). I believe that determination is the most important in the Marist Motto, 勤勉忠勇. And, he has duely done just that!
Liew Joon Meng. The Singapore No.1 Archer out performs the other adults(even some professionals) to clinch his rank. Recently, he went overseas to compete at the international stage(open category) and got a highly sought after 2nd Position. For a Youth achieve greatness at this level, is just...beyond my limited vocabulary! Indeed the sportsman of the year.
Wong He Jun. He's been awarded this service title. Having served as a student councillor in Maris Stella High for 4 years, he slowly climbed up the hierarchy system. In secondary 3, he was made the President of Student Council. Having planned and written as the chief, his background work was unseen and often, has been the abuse of our inmature students. I'm proud to be once his friend!
Also, our class has gotten a number of sportsmen being accepted into premier JCs.

Poon Chong Lin - HCI Basketball
Sim Harng-Yi - VJC Softball
Wayne Yap - VJC Bowling
For the others, i suppose their application is pending, and we sincerely wish them all the best!!
